Marshall Bruce Mathers III was born on October 17 in 1972). He is better known as Eminem – the most popular American rapper, songwriter, actor and record producer. His alter ego name is Slim Shady.

American rapper became popular as part of D12 group gaining a mainstream recognition. He also formed a hip-hop duet Bad Meets Evil with Royce da 5’9″. He was recognized as the best selling artist in 2000 and is considered one of the most successful rappers in the world. He was ranked by the Rolling Stones magazine number 82 in the Top 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Other magazines also rank him on the top positions in their charts. Eminem was named the king of hip-hop by the same magazine. During his carrier this American singer released ten number-one in Billboard 200 albums. More that 42 million tracks and 41.5 million by this rapper were sold in the United States and over 90 million albums were sold worldwide.
